Set in the pretty village of High Easter, this event started in 2015, organised by the village to pay for renovations to the church. It has grown since and in 2023 the organization changed to the Grange Farm and Dunmow Running Club. This was to replace their Felsted 10k which could not be run due to car parking issues. The race starts and finishes at the village hall. It has a circular route around quiet country lanes, with almost no traffic. The final stretch takes you through the village centre to the village hall. There is a hill at about 8k-9k, just before you reach the village, other than that it is pretty flat. Car parking is free and close by. There is also a 1 mile fun run. A highly recommended event.
