Set in the pretty village of High Easter, this event started in 2015 and is organised by the village and the Grange Farm and Dunmow Running Club, with money going to village projects, including renovation of the local church. The race starts and finishes at the village hall. It has a circular route around quiet country lanes, with almost no traffic. The final stretch takes you through the village centre to the village hall. There is a hill at about 8k-9k, just before you reach the village, other than that it is pretty flat. It is usually quite a fast course, so a good event for a PB. Car parking is free and close by. There is also a 1 mile fun run. A highly recommended event.
