Essex Runners

A new PB! This is the first time I have run this race and absolutely loved the route. Predominantly steady downhill/flat with a cheeky uphill stretch between km 8-9 which took some will power to push through, it was a great road race. The roads were closed off for the morning which made for a very nice run through the back roads of Essex. It was a nice size field of ~300 people with I'd say 80% club runners which also helped push the pace. I would definitely recommend this and will being doing it again!
