Like the Round Mersea Island Race this event is set on the small Island of Mersea, just off the Essex coast and is organised by the Mersea Lions, with proceeds going to charity. There are 2 races, a 5 mile and a 10 mile event, on a 5 mile circuit, with the 10 mile runners doing the circuit twice. The route is on roads around West Mersea, with various views of the sea. The start and finish is at Willoughby Avenue car park. Car parking is ample and close to the start. The race(s) can be entered on the day, numbers permitting.
