Essex Runners

This site reviews organised races in the county of Essex. All the races reviewed have been run personally by the reviewer, so will be based on first-hand knowledge of the event. It is not a definitive list of ALL events in the area, only races that have actually been competed in are included. However, in time the objective is to include as many events as possible in Essex. ​

The reviews are looking at the events very much from an ‘amateur’ or ‘journeymen’ perspective, as opposed to an elite athlete. No sponsorship or marketing is involved in the events reviewed or the review itself.
