The Clare Castle ParkRun, like it's neighbour in Sudbury is in Suffolk, but it is less than 5 miles from the Essex border and is included as a lot of Essex runners take part. It is a really nice ParkRun, in a lovely setting in the grounds of Clare Castle. It has a 3 lap circuit, much of it through woods and along the River Stour. Most of the route is on made-up pathways, so good for buggies.

Car parking is in the castle car park and is chargeable via a machine or online via the MI Permit app.
