CHELMSFORD (ARU) HALF MARATHON

Review by Tom Castell, Stowmarket Runner (March 2023)

Overall I thought it was a pleasant run. The event was meant to start at 9 and started just past 9.20. I think that the start point could be made bigger personally.

I think the the road closures were done really well and I enjoyed running along the motorway and also the countryside of Chelmsford.

A few uneven surfaces, but were marked out with white paint and hard to miss.

For me personally, I beat my previous time and got a PB for a half marathon. I think overall it is a nice gradient around the whole course and not many hills which makes it quite a flat course.

Great atmosphere from the supporters around most the course.
