Essex Runners

I absolutely love Chelmsford ParkRun, it is a great one for PB's when its not too wet under foot. It's a one loop course mostly on paths, with about 500 metres over grassy fields with a slight 20 (ish) metre hill. There are generally anywhere between 500-800 runners, so the first kilometre can be quite slow and tight at times. However, after this as the course thins out a little (I tend to run an average 25 min 5km) it is a great one with a lot of very supportive Marshall's around the entire course. They often have fun themes as well, and with their 10th birthday event today they did a fancy dress event, so its great to keep an eye on the facebook group which is very active.
